GLitter (Gold + Litter) is a collection for Central Saint Martins souvenir. The aim of the souvenir design attempts to rebrand the identity of CSM through a critical approaching by using rejected material in CSM workshop. Glitter is a vacuumed vacuum bag contenting will-arranged items with an unique shape, and the output transforms a form of CSM characteristic.
Every object has its own life. Litter is not ’what society rejects’ but a useful stuff that someone left lying around. Hence, the concept of Glitter is to provide a conversation platform between giver and receiver. The Glitter project was selected as the souvenir of Central Saint Martins 2013. Glitter project went to a further step as a personal workshop in CSM Green Week in 2014; later, it switched as a non-paper catalogue workshop that designed for MA Industrial Design Degree show 2015. The guests are invited to re-collage litter (that was produced during the production of graduation projects) and to vacuum forming it that is an online catalogue as well as a souvenir.
GLitter is 100% Rubbish from Central Saint Martins’ Workshops!
