Plastic archaeology is a material-oriented journey. This project attempts to create a projection of today’s plastic consumption culture from science-fiction point of view. The poly-rock sample delivers its contain clues of the relationship between human effects and the environment. Refers to the term 'Plastiglomerate,' a new form of stone, describing an indurated, multi-composite material made hard by agglutination of rock. The Plastiglomerate is a significant evident of Anthropocene, meaning human activities have had a severe impact on the geological age. Till present day, scientists are trying to thrash out the pollution of plastic e.g. degradable plastic. In the faraway future, it may not unearth the nowadays plastic (degradable plastic)that means it would be the ‘Plastic Fault.’ For the future archaeologists, this century would be named as ’Plastic Age.’ Habitualization is the core factor of the sense of entitlement of cheap to plastics to public. The common misconception that plastics are cheap materials. In fact that plastics are much more expensive by weight than steel and only slightly inexpensive than aluminium. Plastic archaeology defamiliarizes object allows people to renew repetition and recognition of existing plastic matter.
